CTEK MXS 5.0 TEST & CHARGE – smart 12 V / 5 A charger with test functions

Smart 8-step 12 V battery charger with integrated tester function. Suitable for 1.2–110 Ah lead-acid batteries (WET, MF, Ca/Ca, AGM, GEL), with pulse maintenance mode up to approx. 160 Ah. Ideal for those who want to not only charge, but also check the condition of the battery and charging system.

3 test programs

MXS 5.0 TEST & CHARGE combines a charger and tester in one housing:

• Battery voltage test – shows whether the battery maintains voltage in the disconnected state
• Cranking power test – assesses the battery’s ability to start the engine
• Generator/charging system test – checks whether the car’s charging system is working properly while driving

Charging functions

• 8-step microprocessor-controlled charging algorithm – diagnoses, charges, tests and maintains the battery
• Battery diagnostics – checks whether the battery is able to accept and hold a charge
• Automatic desulfation program – helps prevent plate deposits
